The Clatskanie Rifle & Pistol Club is an Oregon non-profit corporation that was founded in 1948.
The purpose of the Club shall be to promote the safe and ethical use of firearms for hunting, competition, and sport; to promote the proper use of our game and fish resources through education of its’ members and the public; to provide a place for the above efforts and to foster good relations among sportspersons and the community at large.
Our bylaws state “It shall be the purpose of this club to maintain a shooting range open to the public without fee, and to promote instruction of the public in the safe and ethical use of firearms for hunting, sports, and personal and public defense.”
CRPC maintains an outdoor rifle and pistol range that is open to the public on most weekends, provided :
1. A volunteer range officer is on duty. 2. There are no competitive, training, private events or construction/maintenance that would preclude safe operation of the range, and 3. Participants and attendees abide by the Terms and Condition of range use.
This low-bandwidth website, provided for the convenience of our members and the general public, contains basic information concerning the operation of our range, event schedules, newsletters, weekend duty rosters, membership information and contact info for our club.
If you have a high-speed internet connection you are encouraged to visit the high-bandwidth site, which contains additional information on our organization, including match results and stages, competitive shooting programs, a photo gallery and BBS/forum.
